The opportunity to give the speech as arepresentative of the whole class 2016, I am honored and grateful. But I am more eager to play a role as a "peer reviewer" today, sharing the happiness of three-year life and waiting the future life blossoms. Today my topic is "Progressively playing the game of life rather than passively being played by the game."
The first thing I really want to talk about today is companionship and cooperation. I remembered the days when we were urged to say English in the AP building and strictly supervised by Mr. Min though later Dojo points system has invented. At that time, we sent signals to each other, warning that Mr. Min was standing in the corner of the first floor. Soon, we changed our language mode to English. But now, we became smarter, always speaking English on the third floor to get more dojo points. In the class, we also cooperated together—we did roller coaster model inMr.Stevens class; we were struggled by sounds made by declining dojo points when Mr.Brown took advantage most in dealing with "Zixiao"; fortunately, we have Mr.Lira’s super interesting PhysicsC class, especially bad jokes; we complained a lot about writing essays on humanities courses. We patiently listened essay comments from Mr. Francis. We suddenly woke up when were asked to read and answer questions in Mr.Kalnin’s class though our "Qigong" was not as good as he imagined. We were annoyed of writing myriad of essays of mysterious topics in Mr.Derdyne’s class. Even sometimes, we suffered from preparing and devising Statistics posters in Ms. Mutei’s class. Additionally, what largely a part of my classmates worried about was Mr.Stefanini’s Calculus class though I like Math the most. But we are always together in complaining, studying and working; we are oftenbeing super fans of someone’s concert, harmoniously fighting on the sports field and blissfully celebrating Christmas as well as the most precious one, together eating pizzas. Thinking beyond high school life, perhaps we need to reorganize our own "colony"in order to incessantly expand the scope of our "empires".
Secondly, being clear of our directions. Carl Ranson Rogers said that, "A good life is a process not a state of being. It is a direction rather than destination." Here, I would like to use "Hearthstone legend", which is our classmates’ favorite computer game as an analogy. When you are really motivated to get keys with highest level in order to possess more times of lives in the game, what’s your motivation to win What are your tangible rewards after winning the game Possibly we all never thought of these questions before. In the future, we are still looking forward to getting many opportunities, but we have to find ourselves along the path and keep trying and trying until we find something which capture ourselves’ internal devotion and eagerness. Although life is a linear process, meaning that we must have to get over thousands of difficulties, like solving matrixeson the giant draft paper, we should figure out the guidance direction all the time, playing and entertaining the game of life.

今天我想跟大家分享的小故事是关于学困生的转化的。我们沙河中心小学的班额都比较大，基本上六十个左右，特别是英语学习两极分化严重，不免产生了一些学困生。刚来到学校时，我接任四年级3个班的英语教师。其中2班因三年级时种种原因，英语基础比较薄弱，没有养成良好地英语学习习惯，更有甚者，赵正海等几位同学上课从来不听讲，课后从来不写作业，连英文字母也不会写！我十分上火，找赵正海来苦口婆心地谈话：“上课不听讲怎么能学好英语？不做作业怎么能跟上？不听录音怎么能行？”几次三番地劝说，依然不见改进。一次，我压住怒火说道：“再不好好学，我可要叫你爸爸来学校了！”没想到孩子竟然悠悠地说出一句：“老师，我爸才不管我呢，我爸妈离婚了。”一句话说得我眼睛发酸，现代社会让多少孩子成为牺牲品！很多孩子盼望着拿个好成绩回家向爸爸妈妈报喜，可这些单亲家庭的孩子呢？他们内心的孤独谁来聆听？我能感受到他说出这话时装出来的轻松与无所谓，此时他们更需要的是关爱啊！
于是，我静下心来，改变策略对赵正海说道：“要不这样吧，咱们俩一块学。你不是说这些单词难吗？我们就从简单的字母吧！”他的三年级课本早已找不到了，我就让班上的“小老师”帮写了一份字母表，他的任务是每天照着抄写一遍，第二天拿来我批改，错误的字母就改上10遍、20遍。他渐渐地抄写正确了，我接着让他默写试试，依然漏洞百出，我没有一次性指出他的全部错误，每次指出几个错误让他改正，小心翼翼地保护着他的积极性与自尊心。我批改作业时总会跟他像朋友一样闲聊几句，增进感情；没有时间批改则委派一名“小老师”帮助批改。经过一段时间的努力，他终于可以正确地默写出字母表了。在此期间，我不断的在全班同学面前“大肆”表扬赵正海的认真、刻苦与进步，带领全班同学献上真诚的big hands，号召大家学习他的精神与毅力。就这样，在他羞涩的微笑中，他不断地收获自信，周围几个“0分专业户”也在他的带动下认真写起了字母表，而他则快乐而骄傲地当起了“小老师”观察指导，乐此不疲。我趁势提出了他每天背一个英语单词的计划，他也痛快地答应了。英语对他来说已不再是个大包袱，到期末考试，他和他的小伙伴们终于不再是0分、几分、十几分，大部分及格了，二班的整体英语学习氛围也明显积极上进了许多，甩掉了年级最后一名的帽子。
我想，对于孩子们来说，他们收获的不仅仅是学科成绩的提高，更是一种通过自己努力取得进步的自信感与不轻言放弃的生活态度，这对他们的人生都将是一种宝贵的精神财富！
而对于我来说，则要记住，在教育学生的时候，一定不要浮于表面的谆谆教诲，而要去了解他们，关心他们，像朋友一样去交谈，真正走进他们的内心，将心比心，才会获得信任与进步，才会实现真正意义上的教育！

大家好！
首先感谢领导和老师对我的信任，给我提供的这次交流的机会。时间过的真快，转眼我参加工作已经8年了。在这几年的英语教学岗位上，我没有取得过太多的成绩，也没有获得过很高的荣誉，作为一名普通的科任教师，在工作中，我始终秉承着“踏实做人，认真做事”的宗旨，努力做好学校交给我的每一项工作。
英语教学工作，虽不像语数那样是家长心目中的主科，但近几年来家长们对英语学科的关注度也是与日俱增。而英语学科作为一种区别于其他学科的另一种语种，在没有一定的语言环境下，教学起来着实要采取一些特殊的方法和手段。可以说，这几年的英语教学我一直在努力摸索着前进，也形成了一些自己的方法和套路。在这里，和大家交流一下我的感受和点滴做法。
1、 科任教师进班级，兴趣是前提，纪律是保证。
我一直担任五、六年级的英语教学工作。学生们的英语基础知识参差不齐，接受能力也不同，并且随着学习难度的增加，学生们也产生了消极情绪，没有兴趣，甚至厌学，课堂纪律涣散。我深知兴趣是最好的老师，为了向四十分钟要质量，每一节课我都认真钻研教材，查找资料，精心制作每节课课件，到现在为止，我基本储备了五六年级每一课的课件，形成了自己的小小的资源库。其次，为了教学更直观，训练更简捷，我自己制作直观教具，如句式训练图片，单词卡片，音标卡片等，我还自己花钱购买同步课文视频，这样不仅能给学生创造英语语言环境，而且保证了复习和训练的频率和效率。除此之外，在教学中，我还注重根据学生的差异因材施教，努力跟上课改步伐，把高效课堂理念引入到教学中，形成了自己独特的（愉快教学法）。让学生在接受知识的同时，培养学生自学，共学，群学的能力，让学生做课堂中的主人，并以鼓励的方式来增加学生学习的积极性。不仅改善了课堂纪律，又提高了学生的英语成绩。
2、 树立终身学习意识，不断提高各方面能力。
我深知“学海无涯”，作为一名教师，要给学生一碗水，教师要有源源不断的“活水源”。特别是当今的化在信息时代，社会飞速发展，知识更新飞快，能力要求甚高，所以我常常不满自身现状，不断提高自身的专业理论和教学能力，我积极参加学校和上级部门组织的各级各类活动，撰写教育教学论文，积极参与课题实践研究，探索适合农村小学教学实际的教学方法。除此之外，我最大的爱好就是读书，只要一有时间我就找些书来读，不同类别的书籍不仅丰富了我的人生，良好的读书习惯也为学生树立了榜样，为带给学生“源源不断的活水”奠定了基础。

作为一名年轻的新教师，我自认为我对这四个班的孩子是尽心尽责的。我每天早来晚走，一心扑在这四个班的英语教学上。四个班的好几套作业本，练习册，试卷等等我都认真的进行批改。有的时候还要带回家改。中午放弃午休时间义务的为一些相对较弱的孩子补课等等。我付出了许多，但是结果却不是那么的尽如人意。我分析后发现问题主要出在孩子的学习方法和学习习惯上。我发现学习成绩好的孩子，他们都有好的学习习惯和学习方法。
好的听课习惯。课堂是教学最重要的环节，紧紧抓住40分钟比课后补四个小时都有用。课堂上应该要集中注意力，跟着老师走。这样不会漏掉任何一个知识点，才会学得全面。我发现有的同学在课堂上始终能保持注意力的集中，有的则是只能集中一段时间，还有一小部分是几乎没有多少时间是集中注意力的，手在下面动不停，老师点名的时候好一些，一转脸又不知道在干什么了。上课不听怎么可能学好英语呢?
学习英语主要就是操练句子，要说英语，学了要能说出来才是会了。课堂上我们留有大量的时间让孩子们朗读，表演。所以在英语课上积极发言就显得更加重要。我问那些不爱发言的孩子为什么不举手，他们说害怕错。我都是跟他们说：“即使错了也没关系，这样可以让老师发现你的问题在哪里并及时纠正。”作为家长也应该这样去鼓励他们，要他们抓住每次发言的机会。
作业是课堂教学的补充和巩固，作业完成质量的好坏直接关系到知识掌握的牢固程度。好的作业完成习惯包括按时完成作业和按时交作业，按老师的要求认真的，字迹清晰的正确的完成作业。虽然只有这几点，但真正做到也不是那么容易。特别他们还是孩子，孩子总有不自觉和管不住自己的时候，所以家长应该在这方面多下点工夫。当然这也是相对而言的。对于做作业习惯较好的学生，家长只需要在他完成作业之后检查一下就可以了。但对于习惯相对较差的孩子来说，作为家长你可能就要多花点时间陪着他写了。我们也能理解家长工作的繁忙，但是对于你们来说最重要的是孩子的教育问题，孩子的成材才是你们作为家长真正的成功!好的学习习惯对于他们的成材是非常重要的，有了好的习惯不管他今后做什么事都会成功的。
这学期我们的学习内容就是书上的十个单元，其中有两个复习单元，主要的就是这八个单元。一学期掌握八个单元的单词，句子和课文其实并不多，只要扎扎实实地学好了这八个单元，本学期的英语就应该没什么问题了。教科书为我们提供了最好的教与学的资源，其他的辅导资料都是次要的。以书为本，扎扎实实地学好书上的知识，每个单元和每个部分才是最重要的。当然在学有余力的情况下我还是主张孩子多学一点，多做一点，这样对于孩子眼界的开阔以及他以后的升学都会有帮助的。
这学期，我希望我们老师和家长能相互配合、共同努力。让孩子养成良好的学习习惯，提高他的英语成绩。

英语零班，是一个全新的概念，是我们商学院首创的英语教学模式。零班教学，重点在于这个“零”字，就是说：老师上课的时候不讲课，全靠学生自己学。我们将这个“教学”的概念，转化为“自学”。
刚开始接手这个班的时候，我很是纳闷，为什么呢?因为领导告诉我，“零班上课不讲课”。那我就犯愁了，上课不讲课，那我讲什么呢?既然上课不讲课，那要我这个老师干什么呢?我很是为难!不知道该从何下手。我知道，我面临的是一个挑战。
经过一段时间的zhuo琢磨，我终于悟出来了：老师不讲课，那就是让学生自己讲，自己学贝!教师不讲课，只是充当学习的组织者，引导者，促进者和评价者。于是，我制定出了一系列的教学方案。如：
分组教学、每周新闻播报、每月读书报告等。让学生自由分组在课后完成老师规定的各项学习计划，并在课堂上做展示，老师则根据每组的表现依次打分。零班教学的分针是轻课内讲解、重课外拓展。着重根据课文主题拓展更多的课外知识，并且由学生自己来讲。

认识三年级下学期
中年级是小学阶段中一个关键性的年级，我们称它为转折点。三年级处于转折前期。在这个阶段，学生的身心和学习内容上都会发生巨大的变化，如果忽视了这个阶段的学习，那对学生今后的学习将会产生很严重的影响。为了什么会出现这种情形呢？我认为中年级主要出现了以下几个方面的变化：
1、 学习内容
从三年级开始，孩子们的学习内容变了。低年级主要是一些非常基础的知识，只要孩子肯下功夫，一般不成问题。到了中年级，学习的知识由简单到复杂，从低年级的形象思维向高年级的抽象思维过渡，这对学生提出了更高的要求，基础必须扎扎实实地掌握，该读的还要读，该抄的还得抄，该练的还得练。但同时还要拓展孩子的思维，从不同角度去考虑问题。课堂上抄写的内容我们可以看孩子1号本，能到A+的同学肯定是比较好的。
2、 心理方面
孩子长大了，也学会了思考，更学会了察言观色，喜欢的人，他愿意和你交流，不喜欢的人就会跟你对着干。而且有些事他会放在心里，不喜欢和老师、家长交流，如果你关心他了，重视他了，也许他高兴了就会把自己的心里话和你说说、不高兴就埋在心里，让你摸不透他的想法，这样就无法指导他的学习。另外，家长还要把握好批评的尺度，这阶段的孩子自尊心逐渐增强，也就是我们通常在讲的孩子知道“难为情”了，他怕“丢面子”了，所以各位家长在教育孩子的时候要把握好尺度。
3、 学习方面
说到学习在座的家长都深有体会。现在的孩子越来越不好辅导了。在一二年级时，有的学生在课堂上不注意听讲，回家以后，家长在家里帮助他们记记生字，背背课文，到考试的时候还是能考到比较满意的成绩。现在学习的内容难度加大了，各门功课的作业量相对多了，但也不至于要写到晚上十一、二点，主要是学习方法改变了。学生的学习不应是一种被动学习，而是一种主动学习。但我们的孩子，大多数都属于一种被动学习，甚至处于逃避学习的状态。比如，最明显地就是表现在作业上。这主要表现在低年级时是被动的接收性学习方法为主，老师教我怎么做我就怎么做，很少有自己的主张和想法，那么现在进入三年级以后就不提倡这种做法了，学生应该是自己主动的去学习，是“我要学”，而不是“要我学。”因此，有一些学生因为不想学，为了逃避写作业在家长面前说：“今天老师没布置作业。”那么在这里我也可以明确的告诉在座的每一位家长，“今天没有作业”这句话是不成立的。老师每天都布置有一定量的作业，就算老师偶尔没布置作业，学生自己也有一些其他作业等着去完成，如可以预习老师没讲过的内容，也可以复习老师已经讲过的知识。因为以上改变，所以会出现一部分同学求知欲增强，对知识追求，因此成绩越来越好，或者有明显进步。而有一部分同学出现惰性，怕辛苦，也有一部分同学对学习不协调，当然这类学生想把成绩搞上去就相对会累一点。班级中三门功课能比较出色的有：郝程伟、张源、毛丽莹、夏玉婷、姚逸飞、孔彦成、杨淳迪和陈乾轩。
4、 课堂方面
三年级的课堂，非常重要。所以我非常重视课堂教学，每堂课都精心作为准备，吸引学生的注意力。在课堂上，学生学习状态两极分化相当严重，有一部分学生的思维是相当活跃的，每个问题都能积极思考回答，如：孔彦诚、姚彦哲等同学，这一部分孩子课堂效率比较高。但也有一部分学生上课总是游离在课堂之外，常常在抽屉里玩东西，做小动作，或者和同学说“悄悄话”，根本不听老师的讲课，也不积极思考问题。久而久之，成绩下滑很严重，惰性很强。这学期，我希望每一位学生最起码一堂课发一次言，给自己订下目标，从而提高自己的学习效率。课堂的情况我们可以从墙上加分表上看出来。
4、 成绩方面：
虽然说几次考试成绩不能代表孩子的全部学业，至少反映了孩子这半个学期的学习态度和学习情况。在这里，我要提醒家长朋友正确对待分数：中年级，学生分数的波动还是相当大的，不能一看到孩子考得不好就冲孩子大发雷霆，甚至有家长在冲动之下对孩子大打出手。人心都差不多，人不是常胜将军，哪会有次次都成功的？所以，对待孩子的考试成绩，我们家长不应该只盯着不如意的分数，不能光冲孩子发火和打骂，而是应该耐心地、心平气和地与孩子一起分析错误的原因，帮助他弄懂意思，改正错误才是上策。请关注孩子的学习过程。考试分数只是衡量学生学习的一个指标，而不是唯一指标。在某种程度上可以说，学习过程的一些特点比分数更重要。有的学生甚至也能考到95分，但是对数学的兴趣不够高，主动性不高，独立思考不够，与同学们交流的习惯还没养成，他的学习潜力将受到限制。如果家长和老师不去帮助他们，学习成绩将会无法得到提高。
5、 其他方面

一、对词汇课的认识
词汇课听起来好象是单纯教几个单词，但在语言教学中我们应把握这样一个原则：词不离句，句不离境。这两句话说的什么意思？就是说在教学中教单词的同时，离不开句子的教学，教语句的同时不能脱离环境的创设。在这次比赛中，我们7号老师和9号老师就做的相当不错。7号老师教授的是四种水果：pear, orange, watermelon和peach。她利用猴子和狗做了一个cai课件创设情景，在教单词的同时，展示两个动物朋友喜不喜欢，从而引出句子:do you like--------?yes, i do./no, i don’t,同时让学生去扮演角色。角色扮演完后，自然过渡到调查周围同学。这样的安排给人一种水到渠成的感觉。9号老师教的是四个形容词：big, small,long 和short。她带领我们进入了动物园：看见大象学生就扮演：hi, i’m elephant. i’m big. 看见猴子学生就扮演：hello,i’m monkey. i’m small.看见蛇学生就扮演：hello, i’m snake. i’m long.看见小白兔学生就扮演：hi, i’m rabbit. i have a short tail…学生兴趣高，也非常积极主动去运用英语交际。
二、对词汇课课堂结构的认识
一节好的课，首先要教学思路清晰，目的明确，重难点突出。我们小学英语教学过程大致可分为以下几块：
1．warm-up 热身 让学生通过游戏、chant、歌曲等进行一个暖身，调动学生的学习兴趣。
2. preview/revision 预习或复习 可对过去的相关知识进行一下回顾展示
3. presentation and practice 主要是呈现新知，教授新知，并能利用各种教学手段和教学方法对所学知识进行巩固操练。在这14位参赛教师中，1号，4号，6号，8号，9号，10号，11号，13号等老师，她们运用了competation 、chant 、tpr 、look and match、 listen and point、 listen and draw 、guessing game和 task-based等教学方法，采取了师生操练、小组操练、生生操练等多种形式，给人一种多姿多彩的感觉。特别提出的是6号和10号老师，她们可能不是英语专业毕业的老师，但她们能充分利用空中资源，和学生一起学习，一起做游戏，共同操练，这很值得让我们去借鉴。
4. consolidation and extension 就是对我们所学的知识做一个总结和拓展。
这几部教学环节相辅相成，互相联系。教学时我们可以用简单的游戏、歌曲甚至是短短的几句课堂用语就能将它们自然衔接，慢慢过渡，但有很多老师常常忽视这些，使的下一个环节出现的有点突然。比赛中我认为做的比较好的有4号、7号、9号、13号等老师。
三、关于课堂教学细节的处理
优秀的课堂之所以优秀，除了教学结构外，还有细节的独特处理，就如人一样，七分长相三分打扮。如1号、2号、10号老师的cai课件，4号和9号老师独特新颖的词卡，4号和13号老师漂亮的板书设计，11号和12号老师多样的评价语，13号和14号老师完整的评价体系（形成性评价与终结性评价相结合），5号和12号老师好听的语音语调，特别是12号老师夸张的语音语调和态势语，这些都留给了我们每一个在场的老师深刻的印象。
总的说来，各位老师都能较好的完成教学任务，但是也存在不少问题，需要去改善：
1．加强自身学习，少犯知识性错误。尽量运用简短的英语，让学生听懂指令。
2．缺少对语言情境的创设，各个知识点之间出现一定的块面，如果能够一条线索贯穿起来就更加好了。
3．对学生的小组活动需加强指导，培养学生用英语交流的习惯。
