促进大学生就业是学校、家长、毕业生和社会关注的热点问题,解决好大学生就业既是以学生为本又是检验学生培养质量的重要标志之一。我以湖北经济学院会展Q1041班毕业生就业工作为例,从全方位做好毕业生就I工作视角,分析总结我从事毕业生就业工作的主要做法和思考,以期对做好当前高校毕业生就业工作有所启示。

二、班级概况

我于2012―2014年担任湖北经济学院旅游与酒店管理学院会展Q1041班主任。会展Q1041班共计33人,男生9人,女生24人。最终8人成功考上研究生继续深造,25人顺利就业,其中2人自主创业,13人在本专业内就业,2人在教育机构就业,1人在银行就业,7人在其他行业灵活就业,就业率达100%。

三、具体做法

(一)针对学生职业意识形成和从业能力发展的不同阶段,注重就业指导过程的全程性。由于大学生就业观念的形成、对职业和社会的了解都需要一个过程,就业指导的任务之一是培养学生的从业能力。从业能力培养有赖于职业意识的形成,而职业意识的形成也要经过蒙困惑期、考察选择期和适应发展期这样一个渐进的过程。因此,就业指导工作不可一蹴而就,应该贯穿大学全过程,根据不同阶段有所侧重地进行教育引导。

刚开始接手会展Q1041班级,学生正处于大二下阶段,我就指导学生进行职业生涯规划教育和指导,通过邀请会展系系主任进行专业介绍、就业前景分析;会展Q0941班级优秀的专业实习生为本班学生全方位讲解了专业实习和未来就业方向的相关问题。通过各种形式对全体学生进行各种形式的就业教育,帮助学生了解专业发展前景,树立正确的择业观。

大三阶段,一些学生在就业和升学两种方向上会有分流,为了尽早为毕业各种出路做好准备,我充分利用晚讲评的时间了解大家的就业意愿和升学深造意愿,为此在大三上学期一开学,我班专门成立了考研讨论小组和就业互助小组,分别针对考研和就业的学生召开专题班会,在考研指导上做到事无巨细,为我班有意愿考研的学生做了详细的讲解和指导,从考研时间准备、学校选择、各科复习方法、考研心态调整等诸多方面都有详细的经验介绍;针对毕业后直接就业的学生,我利用晚讲评的学生详细了解了我班就业学生的具体情况,按有无意愿从事本专业方向工作的标准进行了划分,要求每位就业学生在大三有空的时候参加一场招聘会,提前体验和感知就业氛围,并向就业的学生讲解现阶段的就业政策和就业技巧。与此同时,建议我班所有学生参与旅游与酒店管理学院2013年举办的“优秀毕业生交流会”,通过交流会分别向考研成功和就业理想的学长学姐取经。

大四阶段,实施与完善班委成员与学生党员的引领与帮扶作用。考研学生处于考研备考关键阶段和复试准备工作阶段,就业学生很多忙于毕业实习,针对这一实际状况,班级成立了由主要班委和学生党员组成的帮扶小组,负责大四期间班级日常事务与考研、就业信息资源的共享,考研和外出毕业实习的学生有任何困难需要帮助的时候,主要班委和学生党员永远是他们坚强的后盾,为考研和在外的学生提供及时的帮助。与此同时,针对我们班考研人数较多的实际状况,我充分利用自己的英语专业优势,为我班所有考研进入复试的学生开展专业的英语复试指导,为每位复试学生亲自指导复试时英语考核的流程与基本内容,为他们提供一整套英语复试资料,包括英语自我介绍、常见问题等;根据我以往考研复试的经验,为进入复试的学生做了考研复试面试指导,从面试心态、常见面试问题回答技巧、专业学习规划等方面做了细致的介绍,做到有的放矢,增强学生复习的针对性。根据我院成立了2014级考研复试调剂小组的实际状况,积极为进入复试的学生联络可以提供帮助的院内老师,其中一位学生在学院领导的积极联络和帮助下,成功考入山东大学深造。

(二)坚持以提高综合素质和实践能力为中心,强化就业指导内容的全面性。社会发展对人才培养提出了更高的要求,除专业成绩外,更注重学生的综合素质和实践能力。高校培养的毕业生不仅是求职者,还应该是具备综合素质和实践能力的高级人才。为进一步拓宽学生的知识面,加强综合能力和人文素质培养,特别注重提高学生的创新能力、实践能力、适应能力和创业能力。我从担任会展Q1041班主任开始,多次鼓励学生参加丰富多彩的学校实践活动,如在大二至大三期间,我们班多位学生担任学校和院系党支部、学生会、各学生社团组织的主要负责人,锻炼学生的管理和组织协调能力。学生就业指导工作应将素质教育渗透其中,将就业指导工作与高素质的人才培养体系结合起来,注重学生的全面发展。除加强对学生就业技巧的培训外,更注重学生两个能力的培养:一是适应职业需要的实践能力的培养,如创造能力、决策能力、社交能力、操作能力和组织管理能力等;二是适应变化的自我发展能力的培养,同时也要培养他们具有团队精神、敬业精神、创新精神和求知欲望。为此,充分利用学校鼓励大学生自主创业的机会,鼓励和培养学生的自主创业精神,使之逐渐成为就业岗位的开拓者和创造者。会展Q1041班最终有2名学生成功地实现了自主创业,开办了一家以武侠主题为背景的主题餐厅,截至目前,餐厅运营状况良好。

此外,极引导学生利用课外时间参与校级以上组织的学科竞赛、课外学术、科技作品竞赛及社会实践活动,鼓励学生参加学校各类社团活动,与此同时指导成立有学院专业特色的学生学科性社团:会展协会。并于2012年5月策划、组织、实施举办了湖北经济学院旅游与酒店管理学院第一届会展策划大赛,提高了学生的专业认可度和就业自信心,也充分锻炼了学生的实践动手能力。2013年6月,本班学生以会展协会为平台,成功策划了湖北经济学院首届“爱眼节”为主题的展览会活动,活动的成功开展满足了广大学生自我锻炼和培养专业兴趣的迫切要求,最大限度地为学生提供了锻炼的机会。此外,为了提高毕业生的就业能力,提供就业锻炼机会,学院、会展系、班主任等积极为毕业生牵线搭桥、多方联系实习单位,于2013年暑假圆满组织了部分学生参与上海展览会公司的实习,其他学生则充分利用武汉举办展览会的机会参与实习,提前走向社会,参与实践锻炼,了解就业市场、专业课外活动的开展及社会实践活动的开展,为大学生就业能力和综合素质的培养创造良好的条件。

(三)围绕就业影响因素的多重性,重视参与就业指导的全员性。影响大学生就业的因素有主体的,也有客体的,涉及学生、家庭、学校、社会等多个方面。为此,做好毕业生的就业指导工作和服务体系是一项集学校、学生、社会(用人单位)于一体的全方位、系统性工程,需要全社会的参与。充分了解我校的就业指导工作,我校逐步实现专门人员指导变为全员指导,形成由各级领导、辅导员、班主任、任课教师等全员参与的就业指导工作网络,同时积极动员学生家长、校友、友好挝徊斡胙生就业指导工作,通过政策的详细了解,更具体有针对性地指导本班学生顺利就业。

在大四上学期,通过每周晚讲评的主题班会,了解班级学生的就业思想和就业动态,包括有多少学生家里可以为就业提供帮助,哪些学生属于就业困难,哪些学生愿意在本专业领域就业,哪些学生有意愿从事其他行业,做好充分的数据统计。及时向班级学生学院、学校的就业信息,积极落实学院就业周报制度,同就业困难学生谈心,缓解他们心理上的就业误区和就业压力,成立以班主任为组长,主要班委和学生党员为主要帮扶成员,为班级学生再就业工作上提供力所能及的帮助。充分旅游与酒店管理学院在就业工作上的各种平台,积极推荐学生就业,充分发动专任教师、学生家长、校友资源等力量,通过大家的共同努力,有针对性地做好每一位学生的培养与就业指导工作,不断拓宽就业信息渠道,提高人才培养质量和毕业生的就业率,最终圆满达到全员就业的良好效果。

(四)全方位做好毕业生的就业工作,以及就业困难学生的精准帮扶工作。随着高校毕业生就业总量压力持续加大,供需不匹配的结构性矛盾依然突出,就业形势更为复杂、任务更加艰巨。为进一步提高毕业生的就业质量和就业率,就业困难学生的精准帮扶显得越来越重要。

要做好就业困难学生的精准帮扶工作,前提是摸清学生就业困难的原因。针对就业困难毕业生不同的就业困难类型,对他们开展“一对一”的精准帮扶。

1.针对家庭经济困难的毕业生,我们在校期间通过学校勤工助学服务中心,为他们提供合适的志愿服务和勤工助学岗位。另外,针对家庭经济困难的毕业生,还为这些学生积极争取相应的经济援助,如国家和学校有《关于做好高校毕业生一次性求职补贴发放工作的通知》的资助政策,帮助这些困难学生减少求职中的经济顾虑,消除心理自卑,鼓励他们积极主动地参加各类招聘会,获取求职应聘的机会。
